Thanksgiving in RI--always a nice thing for me. Bare ground, t-shirt weather (for me, anyway). Mark's flowers, inspiring as always. Two silver serving dishes: two kinds of lima beans, Fordhook and baby limas (one for each of those who have a preference--I can't get Fordhooks where I live). Note in foreground the boiled onions and squash. My mother committed an unforgivable sin by allowing the squash to touch the onions. Mark HATES winter squash. Liza HATES summer squash. Maybe this will be the year I can remember who HATES which season's squash.
