Icy shoreline

This is the AuSable River on my way home from Book Group on Sunday evening. I'm guessing the ice went out last week or so. Those are huge, incredibly heavy and thick chunks of ice left behind when the solid river of ice moved on out. There are still portions of the Saranac that are frozen, but that ice is dark and thin so won't make much of a fuss but will slowly melt in the warm weather.
