This is one of the most famous landmarks in all of Rhode Island--the Newport Bridge. You can see it from afar, like the 3 kings' star. This is from the eastern side of Jamestown. When I lived there, there would be jumpers off of the Newport Bridge--once when we were driving across the bridge they closed a lane because someone was way up on the top. How could anyone get that far up? I know I'd have to jump long before I got that high because I'd never be able to get back down. Anyway, now they apparently jump off of the Jamestown Bridge too because it's so much bigger. Nice of the State to accommodate them, huh.
