An evening stroll
I've been walking around my neighborhood lately. It's one of my 2 favorite times of year: no leaves, so it's silent. No bugs, they're not out yet. Last night I went for an evening stroll down my road. It was really, really nice. It turned into sort of a stroll down memory lane, as you will discover.

It started out as I reached the crest of the hill on my road. That's Whiteface to the right, Esther in the center, Douglas in the foreground and Catamount in the left background. Notice that you get a strong suggestion of spring in the woods. That's the bog parking lot (Nature Conservancy owns it) at the foot of the hill. My house is just beyond that.
